MINIMAL SKINCARE USING 100% NATURAL INGREDIENTS
Over the past decade, Neha has combined her passion of problem solving with her desire to minimalize skincare.
She believes that caring for our skin is a big part of connecting with our bodies and mind, spending quality #metime with yourself. Over the past several years, our use of skin products has multiplied in everyones vanity.
Creating a lot of waste, using many chemicals and spending precious time that we can never get back,
on things that cause more harm than benefit to our skin.
Below we have for you, a timeline of how we got to where we are today!
2008
Neha was diagnosed
with solar dermatitis
by her family physician. She spent 5 years prior to the diagnosis not knowing what condition she had.
2009
Neha was experimenting with Doctor prescribed medications, such as steroid creams, hydrocortisone,
while visiting the best Dermatologists
in Canada to help her with her condition.
She met with many physicians and realized that there
may never be a cure for her condition, only bandaids.
The Doctor's told her,
"many of our patients only go out during the night."
Neha heard this and knew,
this wasn't the way she was going to live her life.
2010
Neha began her journey
to becoming a Medical Aesthetician
at International Beauty Institute.
While studying, she knew this was where she belonged.
Skincare was her passion.
2012
Surya was opened.
Neha used all the methods of modern skincare that are typically taught in our Western world.
2013
Neha added to her knowledge
by studying in-depth the
Human Anatomy with Massage Therapy. She completed her diploma and chose to add her knowledge to her facials.
During her studies, she learned
that many of the conditions and dis-eases
humans face, had no cure.
2016
Neha was introduced to the wonderful world of Ayurveda. She began to explore and expand her knowledge on skincare. Spent the next year unlearning and relearning all the things she had been taught about skincare, dis-eases and health conditions..
2017
Neha began her spiritual journey. Focusing on herself.
Learning the importance of the breath, breath exercises,
body scanning, meditation
& disposed of all skincare that contained
any trace of chemicals, fillers and parabens.
Neha discovered
THE OIL CLEANSING METHOD.
Neha switched her products in the spa and began
Surya Meditation Spa's next journey.
Our Infused Ghee was hand-crafted.

Carrier and essential oils for all skin types were found and
Skin by Surya was created.
2020
Sharing her message with the world, less is more.
